Dr. Niamh Hart received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2021 after completing a Bachelor’s in Biology and Environmental Studies at Florida State University in 2017. During vet school, she enjoyed a large breadth of study – including small animal medicine, large animal medicine, and wildlife rehab and research.
The integral role her family dogs played in her upbringing led to an immense appreciation for the bond between pet and owner; the joys of working in primary care are founded in supporting and sharing in this companionship each and every day. In general practice, Dr. Hart’s special interests are diagnostic imaging – specifically ultrasound, as well as dermatology and compassionate end-of-life care. Additionally, she is “Fear Free” certified to minimize patient stress in the hospital better.
While Dr. Hart actually enjoyed the cold and snowy winters of Minnesota, her native state of Florida called her home to family, friends, and – of course – the beaches! Outside of work, she enjoys reading, making art, and exploring all that Florida nature has to offer. Dr. Hart and her Lab mix, Boru, are excited to be a part of the Curry Ford community and to get to know you and your pet(s).
