Dr. Valentin

Dr. Valentin

Associate Vet

Dr. Melanie Valentin hails from the sunny shores of Puerto Rico, where her lifelong passion for animal welfare took root. She embarked on her journey by first completing her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, followed by earning her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. With a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and preventative medicine, Dr. Valentin seamlessly integrates her clinical expertise with compassionate care, providing a comprehensive approach to pet wellness.

At the core of her philosophy is the belief in the vital role of clear and empathetic communication between veterinarians and pet owners. Dr. Valentin firmly asserts that well-informed pet owners are better equipped to make informed decisions for their beloved animals. She consistently goes the extra mile to educate clients on best practices for pet care, ensuring the well-being of both pets and their families.

Beyond the walls of the animal hospital, you’ll find Dr. Valentin cherishing quality moments with her family, including her husband, son, and their two cherished fur-babies—an endearingly clumsy Labrador Retriever named Chloe and a delightfully sweet orange cat named Oliver. Whether at work or at home, Dr. Valentin is always surrounded by love and wagging tails.
